The exact shape of the answer copy, which is what determines whether Google promotes you into the snippet.
Run it
- Do NOT repeat the question in the first sentence.
- Open by stating who you are, what you do, and where you do it. Simon C's worked example on the 2024-11-21 call: 'ABC Mechanical is an HVAC company in Gotham who fixes air conditioners.'
- H2 header carries the question, the answer comes immediately below it.
- Bullet points and tables are favoured. Keep it short-form.
- Pull the answer content from the real SERP, not from AI generation.
- Guard the GPT prompt against off-limits content for the niche (price, safety instructions). Shaun Mitchell's team shipped garage-door PAA content quoting $1,500 to $6,000 prices because the GPT was not constrained, then had to rebuild the videos because Pictory reintroduced the same errors.
